PIETRAVENTO OLIVE TREE

"Ulivo Pietravento" is a work created for FèXtra – Festa dell'Extravergine d'Oliva 2023, dedicated to the promotion of olive growing.

Located in front of the Mattinata town hall, on Corso Matino, the sculpture interprets the relationship between nature and matter, translating the movement and resilience of the olive tree into stone.

The forms evoke twists and turns, as if traversed by the wind, while solids and voids convey energy and transformation.

A symbol of the territory, its agricultural heritage, and its ability to endure over time.
