Varna (BULGARIA)
ROSE
2016

Created in Varna under the patronage of the Italian Cultural Institute, the work was created during a public event and sculpted live in a city square.
The limestone, similar to that found in Abruzzo, takes the form of an opening rosebud.
The rose is a symbol of Bulgaria, linked to the famous Rose Valley and the tradition of essential oil production.
The leaves, also conceived as seats, combine curves and edges, transforming the sculpture into a place of encounter and connection.
