Vernon in Giverny, Normandy (FRANCE)
SWAN
2013

Created during the Journées de la Sculpture sur Pierre in Giverny and subsequently acquired by the Claude Cambouri Gallery, the work is a synthesis of elegance and primordial strength.
Sculpted from high-quality limestone, it depicts a swan with flowing lines that close into an egg-like shape, a symbol of birth and rebirth.
The upper forms open out like a sunburst, merging with the wings.
At the base, the Descou Bull appears, a reference to cave art, establishing a dialogue between culture and origin.
