DRUNKEN CAPITAL
2003

Created during a public initiative in just a few days, the "drunken capital" was born as an ironic play on the tradition of stonecutters.
Starting from a classical form, the work is deformed and rendered fluid, almost unstable, with references to the language of street art and comics.
The lines bend and move, breaking the typical rigidity of the architectural element.
The result is a surreal reinterpretation of the capital: a familiar object that loses balance and becomes a free and contemporary expression.
